Saturday Morning at approximately 4:15 am CLPVFD was dispatched on a RIT call. 5-9 and 5-3 responded to the scene with crews, where multiple departments assisted Andover VFD with the extinguishment of the structure fire.

Control Burn with North Shenango VFDTuesday Night Drill 11/15/2011 Tuesday night CLPVFD was invited to attend a control burn with North Shenango VFD. The burn was located on North Lake Road, Espyville. Control burns are an excellent learning experience for seasoned firefighters as well as new members and juniors. Thank You to North Shenango VFD for the opportunity to train with your department!

They were escorted from route 79 home to Linesville with the help of Linesville VFD, North Shenango VFD, CLPVFD, Summit EMS, CLASS, CLVFD, Vernon Twp. VFD and Conneautville VFD. The escort was assisted with the help from Linesville PD, Vernon PD and Conneaut Lake PD. Congratulations again ladies for an awesome job!

We waited at Linesville's department until they released everyone back to their bases.   Fire Safety Week October 2011Chief 5 with the help of Firefighter Ron Bickel and Dave Carne from Department 20 (Summit VFD) went to the Linesville Elementry School's Pre-K program to talk about Fire safety. The children had a great time learning about a firefighters gear, not being scared if a firefighter comes for you in a fire, having and practicing an escape route and smoke alarms. The children then got the chance to go outside to tour 5-9,see the ladder extended and of course the chance to sit in the drivers seat! A special thank you to Mrs. Button and her class for the great welcome, we hope you learned alot!
