Fishermans Events Memorial Day Weekend!
This weekend is no
t only a holiday weekend which means a nice long weekend for most people but its our Fisherman's Raffle and Fishing contest! Our festivities start off on Friday May 25, 2012 at 6pm for the fishing contest pre-registration. Come over to our truck room and register for the fishing contest and enjoy a hot dog and soda on us! Then on Saturday May 26, 2012 we will be hosting the fishing contest at Pymatuning Lake! The contest starts at 5am but you must be registered and fee paid by 6am to be part of the contest, so if you cant make it Friday night you can still register at the Linesville Boat Launch. The contest ends and measuring begins at 11am and ending at 12:15pm. Prizes are announced at our Fisherman's Raffle Saturday afternoon! We will also be hosting the Bairs Pinkvette for Cancer at our Fisherman's raffle (weather permitting)! For only a $1 you can help support the Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute by signing the Pinkvette! Come kick off the Summer with us this weekend...fishing contest, fishing raffle with great prizes and helping out two local community organizations...the CLPVFD Firefighters and the Yolonda G. Barco Oncolgy Institute with the Pinkvette! Please click on the Fishermans Events Menu for additional information! We hope to see you this weekend!!

We are excited to announce that at our May 26, 2012 Fishermans Raffle the Bairs PinkVette Cruisin for a Cure Vettes will be here! PinkVette is a local charity that is raising money for the Yolonda G. Barco Oncolgy Institute here in Meadville. The Pink vette will be unveiled on May 4, 2012 and will then be on tour to collect singnatures to raise money for a transportation vehicle for patients and their families that are unable to get to treatments on their own. It is a $1 donation to sign the vette! Please come out and help support this fantasic charity and enjoy our fishermans raffle! If you would like more information please click the pink ribbon!
Conneaut Lake Cuisine EventConneaut Lake Area Historical Society is hosting their 10th annual Conneaut Lake Cuisine on May 7th, 2012! This will be held in our social hall from 5pm to 7pm. There are eighteen vendors that have signed up to offer their samples of meats, soups, beverages, salads, desserts and much more! There will be only 250 tickets sold and can be purchased at the Berry Basket or by calling Jean Shanley at (814) 337-6377. There will be no tickets sold at the door! Come early and enjoy our Pasta night! This weeks pasta will include the regular pasta plus Shrimp Alfredo and Meat Lasagna! Dinner starts at 4pm and the auction starts at 6:30! Bring your appetite and enjoy some great deals while helping our Volunteer Fire Department! Easter Party 2012Saturday the CLPVFD Auxiliary held their annual Children's Easter Party. Kitchen UpdateTuesday hot dog days are done for the season! That means Summer is almost here!!!! The kitchen will be open with a full menu on Tuesdays! Please keep in mind to check our social calendar to see what bands are coming and any special public functions that will be held in the social hall. |
