On February 21,2008 at 01:16 hrs, the alarm went out for Dept. 5 to assist Fallowfield (45) for R.I.T. to a reported working structure fire at 8793 Atlantic Rd. Dept. 5 answered up and 5-1 responded with a crew of 5. Chief Williams (45) got on the scene and reported residential wood structure fully involved. Chief 45 notified county and transmitted a second alarm assignment. That alarm brought Conneaut Lake Park (5) R.I.T., Conneaut Lake (7) Full Response, CLAAS (31) EMS, North Shenago (17) Engine, Jamestown (89) Engine and Tanker, Sheakleyville (81) Tanker and Hempfield (94) Tanker. Crews fought the bitter cold and icy conditions for 7 hrs before returning in service.
