On March 15th and 16th 2008, the Conneaut Lake Park F.D. held a Ropes 1 class. Students from surrounding departments learned basic rigging, various types of ropes, knots and hardware used for High Angle Rescue. Students also had to rappel off of a 60 foot bridge in Fallowfield Township for their final evaluation. A special thanks goes to the instructors teaching the class Bob Barbarini (Lead), Jim Wagner and Justin Bittner. Thanks boys hell of a class!
